What is the bed bureau?
The bed bureau is a service that collects information about Care Homes in the UK and distributes that information to the Social Services, Discharge Liason staff and the public. The website you are looking at is only one part of that.

What should I expect?
We actively find vacancies for the Social Services and discharge Liason staff in area's that have signed up to our service. You may recieve a weekly phone call from us to get your vacancy information, or if you join online you will be sent e-mail's with your information on.

What do I have to do?
All we ask is that you keep your information up to date on a weekly basis, our reminder e-mails make it easy to update your vacancies with a few clicks of the mouse. If you don't have any vacancies however you can simply ignore the e-mails as we assume you are full unless you tell us otherwise!

OK where's the catch?
There isn't one - The service is paid for by organisations that use our service to locate beds - so it's free to you! We do offer other services that you may want to know more about, but there won't be any Hard Sell from us. If you're interested in hearing about them visit CaringUK.net.

How do I Register with you?
If you have and e-mail account and access to the Internet you can register online. Simply click the link, or use the menu at the left hand side of the screen, and follow the instructions.
